Your files are never used to train a model. Orrin shows each person only what they can already open, and removing a source removes what Orrin learned from it.

Privacy and security
A tool that reads your files has to earn trust in ordinary ways. These are the rules Orrin follows.
Your files and questions are not used to train Orrin or any other model, on any plan.
Files are encrypted in transit and at rest. Keys are kept apart from the data they protect.
An answer only draws on files the person asking can already open. Nothing leaks between teams.
Store your index in Europe or the United States. It stays there.
Remove a source and its index is deleted within 24 hours. Close your account and everything goes.
Admins can see who asked what, and which files Orrin used to answer.

No. Your files, questions and answers are never used to train Orrin or any other model. This is true on every plan, including Free.
PDFs, Word and Google documents, spreadsheets, slides, plain text and Markdown notes, and email threads from the mailboxes you connect. Scanned pages are read as text where the scan is clear enough.
Orrin says it could not find an answer and shows the closest passages it did find. It does not fill the gap with a guess, and it never gives an answer without a source.
Only people who can already open the source file, thread or note. Orrin checks access for every question, so a private folder stays private even when the rest of the team uses Orrin.
Yes. Monthly plans end at the close of the billing month. From the settings page you can export your list of connected sources and delete everything Orrin holds for your team.
